1. Nakhasikhāsuttaṃ

74. Evaṃ me sutaṃ – ekaṃ samayaṃ bhagavā sāvatthiyaṃ viharati jetavane anāthapiṇḍikassa ārāme. Atha kho bhagavā parittaṃ nakhasikhāyaṃ paṃsuṃ āropetvā bhikkhū āmantesi – ‘‘taṃ kiṃ maññatha, bhikkhave, katamaṃ nu kho bahutaraṃ, yo vāyaṃ [yo cāyaṃ (sabbattha) dutiyasuttādīsu pana vāsaddoyeva dissati] mayā paritto nakhasikhāyaṃ paṃsu āropito, ayaṃ vā mahāpathavī’’ti?

‘‘Etadeva, bhante, bahutaraṃ, yadidaṃ mahāpathavī. Appamattako bhagavatā paritto nakhasikhāyaṃ paṃsu āropito. Neva satimaṃ kalaṃ upeti na sahassimaṃ kalaṃ upeti na satasahassimaṃ kalaṃ upeti mahāpathaviṃ upanidhāya bhagavatā paritto nakhasikhāyaṃ paṃsu āropito’’ti. ‘‘Evameva kho, bhikkhave, ariyasāvakassa diṭṭhisampannassa puggalassa abhisametāvino etadeva bahutaraṃ dukkhaṃ yadidaṃ parikkhīṇaṃ pariyādiṇṇaṃ; appamattakaṃ avasiṭṭhaṃ. Neva satimaṃ kalaṃ upeti na sahassimaṃ kalaṃ upeti na satasahassimaṃ kalaṃ upeti purimaṃ dukkhakkhandhaṃ parikkhīṇaṃ pariyādiṇṇaṃ upanidhāya yadidaṃ sattakkhattuṃparamatā. 2. Pokkharaṇīsuttaṃ

75. Sāvatthiyaṃ viharati…pe… ‘‘seyyathāpi, bhikkhave, pokkharaṇī paññāsayojanāni āyāmena paññāsayojanāni vitthārena paññāsayojanāni ubbedhena, puṇṇā udakassa samatittikā kākapeyyā. Tato puriso kusaggena udakaṃ uddhareyya. Taṃ kiṃ maññatha, bhikkhave , katamaṃ nu kho bahutaraṃ, yaṃ vā kusaggena udakaṃ ubbhataṃ yaṃ vā pokkharaṇiyā udaka’’nti?

‘‘Etadeva, bhante, bahutaraṃ, yadidaṃ pokkharaṇiyā udakaṃ. Appamattakaṃ kusaggena udakaṃ ubbhataṃ. Sāvatthiyaṃ viharati…pe… ‘‘seyyathāpi , bhikkhave, yatthimā mahānadiyo saṃsandanti samenti, seyyathidaṃ – gaṅgā yamunā aciravatī sarabhū mahī, tato puriso dve vā tīṇi vā udakaphusitāni uddhareyya. Taṃ kiṃ maññatha, bhikkhave, katamaṃ nu kho bahutaraṃ, yāni vā dve vā tīṇi vā udakaphusitāni ubbhatāni yaṃ vā sambhejjaudaka’’nti?

‘‘Etadeva, bhante, bahutaraṃ yadidaṃ sambhejjaudakaṃ; appamattakāni dve vā tīṇi vā udakaphusitāni ubbhatāni. 4. Dutiyasambhejjaudakasuttaṃ

77. 1. 指甲尖经
如是我闻。一时，世尊住舍卫城(现今的印度北方邦萨赫特县)祇树给孤独园。那时，世尊用指甲尖挑起少许尘土，对比丘们说："比丘们，你们认为哪个更多?是我用指甲尖挑起的这少许尘土，还是这大地?"
"大德，大地更多。世尊用指甲尖挑起的少许尘土是极少的。与大地相比，世尊用指甲尖挑起的少许尘土连百分之一都不到,连千分之一都不到,连十万分之一都不到。"
"同样地，比丘们，对于已证悟的圣弟子、具足见的人来说，已灭尽、已终结的苦更多;剩余的苦极少。与已灭尽、已终结的前苦蕴相比，剩余的苦连百分之一都不到,连千分之一都不到,连十万分之一都不到,最多只有七次。比丘们，法的证悟如此重要;法眼的获得如此重要。"

2. 莲池经
住舍卫城……"比丘们，假如有一个长五十由旬、宽五十由旬、深五十由旬的莲池，充满水至边缘，乌鸦可以饮用。有人用草尖从中取水。比丘们，你们认为哪个更多?是用草尖取出的水，还是莲池中的水?"
"大德，莲池中的水更多。用草尖取出的水极少。与莲池中的水相比，用草尖取出的水连百分之一都不到,连千分之一都不到,连十万分之一都不到。"
"同样地，比丘们，对于已证悟的圣弟子、具足见的人来说，已灭尽、已终结的苦更多;剩余的苦极少。与已灭尽、已终结的前苦蕴相比，剩余的苦连百分之一都不到,连千分之一都不到,连十万分之一都不到,最多只有七次。比丘们，法的证悟如此重要;法眼的获得如此重要。"

3. 汇流水经
住舍卫城……"比丘们，假如在恒河、耶牟那河、阿致罗筏底河、萨罗浮河、摩希河这些大河汇流之处，有人取出两三滴水。比丘们，你们认为哪个更多?是取出的两三滴水，还是汇流处的水?"
"大德，汇流处的水更多。取出的两三滴水极少。与汇流处的水相比，取出的两三滴水连百分之一都不到,连千分之一都不到,连十万分之一都不到。"
"同样地，比丘们……法眼的获得如此重要。"
第三
4. 第二汇流水经
住舍卫城……"比丘们，假如在恒河、耶牟那河、阿致罗筏底河、萨罗浮河、摩希河这些大河汇流之处的水干涸殆尽，只剩下两三滴水。比丘们，你们认为哪个更多?是已干涸殆尽的汇流处的水，还是剩下的两三滴水?"
"大德，已干涸殆尽的汇流处的水更多。剩下的两三滴水极少。与已干涸殆尽的汇流处的水相比，剩下的两三滴水连百分之一都不到,连千分之一都不到,连十万分之一都不到。"

5. 大地经

78. Sāvatthiyaṃ viharati…pe… ‘‘seyyathāpi , bhikkhave, puriso mahāpathaviyā satta kolaṭṭhimattiyo guḷikā upanikkhipeyya. Taṃ kiṃ maññatha, bhikkhave, katamaṃ nu kho bahutaraṃ, yā vā satta kolaṭṭhimattiyo guḷikā upanikkhittā ayaṃ [yā (syā. ka.)] vā mahāpathavī’’ti?

‘‘Etadeva, bhante, bahutaraṃ, yadidaṃ mahāpathavī; appamattikā satta kolaṭṭhimattiyo guḷikā upanikkhittā. 79. Sāvatthiyaṃ viharati…pe… ‘‘seyyathāpi, bhikkhave, mahāpathavī parikkhayaṃ pariyādānaṃ gaccheyya, ṭhapetvā satta kolaṭṭhimattiyo guḷikā. Taṃ kiṃ maññatha, bhikkhave, katamaṃ nu kho bahutaraṃ, yaṃ vā mahāpathaviyā parikkhīṇaṃ pariyādiṇṇaṃ yā vā satta kolaṭṭhimattiyo guḷikā avasiṭṭhā’’ti?

Taṃ kiṃ maññatha, bhikkhave, katamaṃ nu kho bahutaraṃ, yā vā satta sāsapamattiyo pāsāṇasakkharā upanikkhittā yo vā himavā [upanikkhittā, himavā vā (sī.)] pabbatarājā’’ti?

‘‘Etadeva, bhante, bahutaraṃ yadidaṃ himavā pabbatarājā; appamattikā satta sāsapamattiyo pāsāṇasakkharā upanikkhittā. "大德，大地更多。放置的七个胡椒果大小的泥丸极少。与大地相比，放置的七个胡椒果大小的泥丸连百分之一都不到,连千分之一都不到,连十万分之一都不到。"

6. 第二大地经
住舍卫城……"比丘们，假如大地消失殆尽，只剩下七个胡椒果大小的泥丸。比丘们，你们认为哪个更多?是已消失殆尽的大地，还是剩下的七个胡椒果大小的泥丸?"

Taṃ kiṃ maññatha, bhikkhave, katamaṃ nu kho bahutaraṃ, yā vā satta muggamattiyo pāsāṇasakkharā upanikkhittā yo vā sineru [upanikkhittā, sineru vā (sī.)] pabbatarājā’’ti?

‘‘Etadeva, bhante, bahutaraṃ yadidaṃ sineru pabbatarājā; appamattikā satta muggamattiyo pāsāṇasakkharā upanikkhittā. Neva satimaṃ kalaṃ upenti na sahassimaṃ kalaṃ upenti na satasahassimaṃ kalaṃ upenti sineruṃ pabbatarājānaṃ upanidhāya satta muggamattiyo pāsāṇasakkharā upanikkhittā’’ti. ‘‘Evameva kho, bhikkhave, ariyasāvakassa diṭṭhisampannassa puggalassa adhigamaṃ upanidhāya aññatitthiyasamaṇabrāhmaṇaparibbājakānaṃ adhigamo neva satimaṃ kalaṃ upeti na sahassimaṃ kalaṃ upeti na satasahassimaṃ kalaṃ upeti. Evaṃ mahādhigamo, bhikkhave, diṭṭhisampanno puggalo, evaṃ mahābhiñño’’ti. Ekādasamaṃ.

"同样地，比丘们，与圣弟子、具足见的人所证得的相比，其他外道沙门、婆罗门、游行者所证得的连百分之一都不到,连千分之一都不到,连十万分之一都不到。比丘们，具足见的人如此大的证得，如此大的智慧。"
